"President Elect Biden" and the Brainwashing of the Public

 The American people have been and are being brainwashed. All over the news Joe Biden is being called "President Elect Biden." That phrase is resounding throughout the news reports like a cacophony of a mantra.

Some day soon, after all the votes are tallied and all of the litigation is over with, Biden may, very well be the "President Elect."
But HE IS NOT THE PRESIDENT ELECT, and those who report the news should know that for a fact It's their responsibility to know that for a fact! However, they are either ignorant or, more likely, purposely dismissive of that truism.
Obviously, barring the earth being hit by some catastrophic meteor or some other literally earth shattering event, I see only two rather obvious scenarios for the future: Biden wins and Trump loses or Trump wins and Biden loses.
Assuming that, in the end, all the tallying is legitimately corrected and certified, and all the litigation is resolved, what happens under each scenario?
If Trump loses and Biden wins, for the most part, those who supported Trump will graciously step aside and pray for the new President. They may make their voices heard on issues of policy but there will be no rioting in the streets (unless Beto ORoark decides to come along and take people's guns away. But that won't happen directly as a consequence of the election but as a result of policy if implemented).
But what if Trump wins and Biden loses? The media has already built up the expectation that Mr. Biden will assume office on January 20, 2021. The "great masses" expect that... especially those who'd put in a whole summer protesting, rioting and burning down businesses and buildings. Their highly brainwashed instincts, and not unlikely the media, will tell them that Trump "stole" the election. Boy will they be disappointed! How would they be able to let off steam?
Maybe the "Fake News" media which prematurely called the election can offer yoga programing for would be rioters.

The Gaslighting of America

  One individual, whom I think is president of the Andrew Carnegie fan club, accused me of engaging in gaslighting. To be honest, I was not sure of what gaslighting was, so I had to look it up. Here is what Psychology Today says about it: Gaslighting is an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control. Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves. They may end up doubting their memory, their perception, and even theirsanity. If I Were a Genocidal Nazi, I Probably Would Prefer to Disguise my Worldview as a Religion.

  I find the word "Islamophobe" commonly bantered about by people who don't know what they're talking about. First of all, "phobe" means to fear. I don't fear Islam but am more inclined to identify myself as a hater of Islam. Hence, the idea behind this erroneous epithet, at least in my case, might be more appropriately dubbed "misitís tou Islam" or a "hater of Islam". Secondly, popular culture, without any thought, conflates the term "Arab" with "Islam". The naivete of this error is beyond stunning! Arab is an ethnicity. Islam is an ideology. Hence, ignorant know-it-alls tend to presume that a misitis tou Islam (which is the more appropriate epithet) is a hater of Arabs. Such is absolutely NOT the case.
